Biography

Steve Godfrey is considered to be one the best mediums in the world - some say “he may be the best ever”.  In his short ten year career he conducted over 31,000 sessions, under public scrutiny and with unmatched, specific accuracy.  No other medium in the world can make this claim.  He has dedicated his life to helping those who have lost people they love, so they understand that “life goes on even after it seems to end”.   His clientele includes senators, cabinet members, actors, CEOs, scientists, doctors and everyday people from all over the planet.

In 2002 he was hand picked over dozens of the world's top mediums to host what became known as The Other Side with Steve Godfrey; a live nationally syndicated talk radio show which reached millions listeners across The United States and Canada.  There was no editing of the program; you heard things in real time as they happened.  The Weststar Talk Radio network, the same network that produced the famed Kim Kommando Show and other top rated programs produced the show from 2003-2011.

Steve’s began his work as a professional medium in 2001 after having been a cynic of the supernatural his whole life.  In 1998 His wife was spending a lot of time going to mediums and other spiritualists.  Steve decided to attend one of the readings she had scheduled and didn’t inform the medium he was coming.  The two had never met until that day and Steve’s intent was to “debunk” the medium so his wife would stop her activities.  In that reading to Steve’s surprise, his grandfather who had recently died made a special appearance.  He reminded Steve of an extremely unusual experience he had as child, an experience that up until that time, he never shared with a single soul.

It was 1975 and Steve, who was already seeing spirits, was 6 years old and woke up in the middle of the night.  He had become scared of the dark because of the spirits he had begun to see and hear.  His mother forgot to leave the hallway light on that acted as his night light.  Soon Steve felt a very powerful presence nearby.  He noticed a large arm whose hand was at least three feet across at its palm, emanating bright powder blue light and moving towards him in his bed.  Its finger made several attempts to touch him on his forehead but each time it got too close Steve would pull the covers over his head and shut his eyes very tightly. To afraid to scream, he began praying that the hand would leave him alone and go away, which it eventually did.  After that incident, Steve stopped seeing spirits all together and over time believed them to be only whimsical childhood imaginations.  Steve had all but forgotten the incident.

In the reading Steve was told by his grandfather and his guides that the hand was Creation wanting to fully activate his gift.  Had Steve not been so frightened he would have been made aware of his special abilities then.  The gift was always there but the boy wasn’t ready so the universe chose to wait until he was 30 years old when he was mature enough to handle it.

It took Steve a year after the reading to accept this truth about him but once he did he began seeing and hearing those on the other side once again.  He also began to receive visits from his loved ones on the Other Side who often accompanied by angels explaining to him he had a special purpose in life, that this work was his destiny. 

His work as an intuitive literally skyrocketed in a few short years and today in spite of being one of the world's most acclaimed and recognized mediums, Steve humbly believes it is vital to understand that a medium is just a conduit.  “There is nothing special about Steve Godfrey, I deliver the message; I’m not the message.”
